A Joyful Movement for Connection, Trust, & Belonging

This initiative invites neighbors to step away from isolation, fear, and apathy and return to what has always built strong communities: sharing a meal, hearing each other’s stories, and connecting face to face. Across differences in background, belief, and lived experience, gathering around a table creates space for connection, trust-building, and belonging. Over 150 years, Colorado Springs has grown through the everyday acts of people choosing to live together, solve challenges together, celebrate together, and care for our natural beauty together. 150 Tables honors this legacy by reconnecting neighbors to one another in the places we live and love.

No agenda beyond authentic human connection. No programs to sell. No causes to promote. Just neighbors sharing food, laughter, gratitude, and dreams for the places they live.

How it Works

  • From May through October 2026, across all 77 Colorado Springs neighborhoods (and bonus neighborhoods from Manitou, Fountain, and Monument!), residents host tables that bring their neighbors together.

  • Whether it’s in a driveway, courtyard, community center, or an entire blocked-off street, participation is flexible and neighborhood-driven, allowing each gathering to meet the needs of its local community while remaining connected to the broader movement.

  • Some gatherings may start with a simple potluck of ten neighbors. Others may expand into carefully organized events with tables of fifty or even one hundred neighbors supported by food trucks or catered meals.

  • Tables may look different from place to place. What unites them all is the goal to create spaces of connection, trust, and belonging where neighbors meet someone new, exchange contact information, and begin imagining life together beyond the day of the gathering.

  • Don’t forget to Register your community-hosted table to count towards our citywide goal of 150 and to receive your 150 Tables Across COS Toolkit!
