    District 5 Community Coordinator

Joe Petsche traded eleven years of Portland living for the mountain views of Colorado Springs, and he's been putting down roots in District 5 ever since. A 2025 graduate of Hey Neighbor's Neighborhood University, Joe has spent years recruiting, organizing, and welcoming volunteers—from leading outdoor trips with the Colorado Mountain Club to advocating for local youth through CASA. He's passionate about sustainability, health and wellness, and getting around by bike. After attending Pikes Peak Permaculture course, he is excited to help neighbors discover what's possible on their own patch of land. A dedicated Toastmaster, Joe believes the smallest invitations build the strongest communities.

  • Ana Mendoza

    District 4 & 6 Community Coordinator

After completing the Women's Community Leadership Initiative in 2022, she found a renewed commitment to serving her community and knew she wanted to have a greater impact. Her favorite part of her role at Hey Neighbor is attending Neighborhood Gatherings, collaborating with Neighborhood Leaders, and meeting neighbors whose dedication and passion inspire her to create positive change and help make COS a vibrant, welcoming place for all. In her free time, Ana enjoys hiking the gorgeous Colorado trails with her dogs, taking her toddler son to local parks and splash pads, and visiting the library for community events and a good book.
