Congratulations, Neighborhood University Graduates!

🎓✨ We celebrated our incredible Neighborhood University graduates and their deep dedication to community on Tuesday. City Councilmember Nancy Henjum moved us all with a heartfelt speech that ended in a roomful of voices singing Mr. Roger’s “Won’t You Be My Neighbor? “💛

Huge thanks to Councilmembers David Leinweber and Kimberly, to Thomas Thompson from the City of Colorado, Springs Jill Gaebler from Pikes Peak Housing Network, and Sherry Hoffman from the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC Pikes Peak Housing Network for showing up in support.

To The Board Gatherings, your charcuterie boards were almost too beautiful to eat (but we did anyway)! 🧀🌿 And to our board members and staff, thank you for making this event happen behind the scenes. Sami Mooney, CWDP Bree Shellito, CCUFC, CUDE Toby Lorenc, Renee Newland , Bonnie Goff, Terryjosiah Sharpe, Katie Frank, James Hoffman, CPA, Michelle Hair, Lelia Gibson-Green, and last but not least, Brandon Eldridge.

A huge thanks to ChangeLine for lending your beautiful gathering space!

Finally, endless gratitude to Underline, our class sponsor, for making this course possible.

We can’t wait to see the impact these neighbors go out and create! Congrats, Grads!!

If you or anyone you know are interested in our fall cohort starting in September, registration is open now!
