Hope In The Neighborhood

Hope Homes, a division of Revolution Community Center, has opened in District 1 at 2380 Montebello Dr, Colorado Springs, CO, next to Garden Ranch Park and Revolution Church. The center is led by Pastor Shane Farmer, who brings over 45 years of ministry and childcare experience. This nonprofit seeks to prevent exploitation by offering a safe place where vulnerable youth can thrive through education, care, and enrichment activities. As you walk into the community center, laughter and joy fill the space, and the children seem to be having so much fun.

The center provides accessible, affordable childcare, before- and after-school programs, summer camps, and plans to open a preschool soon. Activities and classes include swimming, rock climbing, gym sports, and pickleball, a bounce room, and exercise facilities, including an indoor walking track for all ages. Seniors can enjoy programs for SilverSneakers members and a special therapeutic exercise pool. The center has affordable membership specials, and community meeting spaces are available, along with a thrift store for clothing and furniture needs.

Upcoming events at the community center include family activities like their Easter Egg Extravaganza, Father & Daughter Dance, and Fall Festival. I am so excited to have this community center now open in my neighborhood. The center will be a great place to connect with the community and be part of fun, vibrant events that bring diverse families together.
