Roll Up Your Sleeves for Creek Week 2026

Creek Week is just around the corner! Organized by the Fountain Creek Watershed District, this year's annual cleanup will take place September 26 through October 6. From Palmer Lake to Pueblo, volunteers of all ages and abilities are invited to help remove litter from local waterways, parks, and open spaces. 

And the impact adds up! Last year, more than 1,500 volunteers helped remove nearly 16.5 tons of trash. That’s over 40,000 pounds! This year, you can be part of the effort to keep our watershed clean and our neighborhoods beautiful. 

There are lots of ways to get involved: Lead a cleanup as a Crew Leader, join as a Crew Member, recruit your friends and family, or simply help spread the word. Crew Leader registration closes September 16. Crew Member registration is now open and closes October 4.

Ready to celebrate with some pre-cleanup fun? Join us for a free Cleanup Supply Decorating Event on September 23 from 4 pm-6 pm at Concrete Coyote. Help decorate buckets and other supplies to pump up the excitement before Creek Week while connecting with fellow community members and watershed supporters. Some craft and decor supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring any of your own to make your cleanup gear unique and fun. RSVP to fountaincreekoutreach@gmail.com or simply stop by.
